Experimental running - barefoot



During my run at ECP yesterday, I observed a runner was running barefooted and he was quite fast.
But I was wondering why he ran without shoe and when I came back, I did some research over the net.

I concluded that running barefoot might actually improve running gait, and in terms, improve timings and prevent injuries.

I tried jogging barefoot around my house for 1.2km today afternoon. Strangely, it seems as if my body will automatically run forefoot when i am bare footed. In anycase, I experienced no pain or blister yet. I will try a few more barefoot runs and do stay tune for more findings.
