36km LSD Run

This would be the longest LSD till the marathon (5 Dec).

Being a willing but much incapable 'snail' runner, I only managed to run (10km), jog(20km) and walk(6km) for the entire distance. I hoped I could be able to crawl another 6.195km on the actual day.

After today's run, I felt that my previous target of 5hr30min was unachievable and I needed to adjust it to 6 hrs (that would be an improvement of 40+ minutes from my PB).  Even then, I felt that I might not be able to achieve it as there were 2 x big challenges in the running route (one would be the 'spongy' and 'narrow' route connecting East Coast Park to Marina Barrage(30-33km), the other would be the slope running of the almighty Benjamin Sheares' bridge).

Anyway, for those who have a CX405, pls note that my watch died on me just after I stopped my timer at the 36km mark. I feared that I might be too slow and the battery life couldn't last me for the entire marathon. So if you have a CX405 too, you better run faster before it dies on you. :)

Anyway, this was the run i did on last monday and it is not a fluke for me to hit a 1hr for 10km. (I managed to run below 1hr for the past 3 runs.) Guess I am improving slowly but surely. :)
